Six Flags

We went to Six Flags last Friday with Grandma and Papa and had so much fun. Mommy and Papa went on a couple of roller coasters and I got to go on one with Grandma. It was sooooo much fun. Then I pushed it a little too far and went on the Demon. That scared me a little bit and I think I'll wait to do that again when I'm 8. Here's a picture of Grandma and me on the kiddie roller coaster. We are in the front row. Grandma said that was enough roller coasters for her.

Owen had a good time on the Wiggles rides and really loved the waterpark. Will liked splashing around too. Grandma, Mom and I also went on the Fiddler's Fling which really flung us around fast....super fast!!! Mom only went on once, but Grandma and I stayed on for a second ride.

Yummy noodles

Owen ate dinner!!!! Many people know the difficulty we have feeding Owen. He doesn't like too much....well, tonight, without hesitation, he ate noodles and sauce. Not only did he eat some, but he had seconds, thirds and even fourths. We do not know what magic cloud was over our house during dinner but we are hoping that it comes back again soon. Dinner was nice, peaceful and kids ate. Mom and Dad were happy.

He's Our Hero

So for Father's Day, Mom and I decided to get Dad Guitar Hero for the Wii. Mom said the boys would be okay with it too. Dad loved it!! I did too. I have lots of fun doing rock poses and pretending to play the guitar.

Outside at Grandma and Grandpa's

Thank goodness that it was a beautiful weekend, other than the brief but incredibly windy storm on Sunday. We were so happy to get outside and play.

In Love with Gracie

The kids were all in love with Gracie and she got lots of attention. Sometimes a little too much attention......

Ali and Audrey

Owen really had a lot of fun playing with Alison and Mom said that she was really great at watching him and keeping him busy and happy! Mom also said that Ali will be a great babysitter and she wishes that Ali lived closer to us. I was so excited to see Audrey and could hardly wait. Not that I don't love all my cousins, but Audrey always is extra nice to me and plays games with me that I love. She is a great artist too and doesn't mind when I copy her pictures.

The Lard Grandkids

So this past weekend we met our cousins from Arizona. If you look at the picture below, you will see Caitlyn, Owen, Raleigh (slightly hidden behind Owen), Danielle and me (Kyra). The little kids all had fun running down Grandma and Grandpa's long hallway until Owen and Danielle crashed into each other. Then they still ran down the hallway and had fun. More pictures and maybe even a slide show are coming....if my Mom can figure it out. I had so much fun playing with my big cousin Audrey. And Owen really bonded with our cousin Alison.

An Afternoon with Finley

Last Thursday (before our internet went down) we watched Finley for a few hours. She really liked the puppies (pretend) that Kyra had and she even played a little bit with Owen.

Zoo Day

We went to the Milwaukee County Zoo today and had the most perfect and beautiful day. The kids had a great time and were so well behaved. We were there for a long time and saw most of the zoo. Kyra's favorite part of the zoo today was when we went into the sting ray exhibit and she got to pet the sting rays. Owen liked the brown bears and yelled out "Hi Bears." He really loved the brightly colored birds and the fish. Will just hung out and had a fun time.

The Best Laugh

Kyra was being very silly at 6 this morning and got the best laugh we've ever heard from Will. He really thought she was hilarious!

Bouncing Brothers

Owen is really starting to enjoy entertaining Will. So here he is doing just that!

So Happy Together

Will and I don't dress alike that often--actually never before this--but Mom thought these jammies were just super cute. And so are we!

The baseball kid

Kyra loves playing baseball with Daddy. She mostly loves to hit and she's getting better at it too! We'll have to keep recording her on video so when she lines it up the middle and hits Dad, we can send it in to America's Funniest Home Videos and win big $$$$! We really love her celebration though!

An added little bonus....if you look carefully in the big window you can see Will bouncing up and down in his exersaucer.

Will is such a ticklish and giggly boy. He even gets tickled when we take off his socks.
